Master Tread Trainers complete a multi-day training course on the Tread Lightly! ethic and teaching and presentation skills and are qualified to provide Tread Trainer courses, Awareness courses, and Tread Lightly! promotions at events.
Tread Trainers complete an 8-hour training course provided by a current Master Trainer and are qualified to present Tread Lighlty! Awareness course and promote Tread Lightly! at events.
Learn how to Tread Lightly! Locate a Trainer in your area to schedule a presentation on Tread Lightly! for your club or organization or to have a representative at an event. You can even request a Master Trainer to provide a Tread Trainer course. In Tread Lightly!’s challenge to promote outdoor ethics and responsible recreation, the Tread Trainer™ program came to be in the spring of 2003. Training opportunities are provided through the program to a multitude of champions willing to spread Tread Lightly!’s message.
Request must be made within 3 months of prefered date and can be made up to 12 months in advance. Due to limited funding Tread Lightly! cannot accomadate every request.
