We all love to get outdoors, experience our world and enjoy our favorite activities. Capturing the adventure is part of the fun, and with the amazing drone technology now available, sharing your passion has never been easier.
However, when using an unmanned aircraft system (UAS) or drone you need to make sure you are following the proper rules, regulations and ensuring the safety those around you. Let’s work together to educate ourselves and others so that we can maintain access to the areas we love for future drone users.
Drones are a great way for us all to enjoy our favorite activities from new perspectives while sharing with family and friends. It’s important that we all follow these rules and regulations while being courteous to others enjoying their time outside. Share the message of responsible flying and remember….respected access is open access, let’s all do our part to maintain access for future users.
An important part of getting to grips with the possible issues surrounding responsible drone flying is getting the message out there. We have created these PSAs and education materials that will be posted around many popular National Forests and distributed around UAS enthusiast groups.
