Project: Shawnee National Forest Eclipse Vista Improvement

Description: On March 9, 2024, 23 volunteers from Jeep N’ Shanwnee worked together with the Mississippi Bluffs Ranger District of the Shawnee National Forest to clean up three vistas in preparation for the path of totality for the 2024 solar eclipse. 185 pounds of trash were removed from the area, improving eight miles of trail.
The project was supported with radios and Stihl trimmers donations from Midland USA.
