15 Oct Tread Lightly! announces renewal of Jeepers Jamboree Official Partnership

NORTH SALT LAKE, UT. (Oct 15, 2024)— Tread Lightly!, a U.S.-based nonprofit dedicated to promoting responsible outdoor recreation through stewardship and educational programs, announced the renewal of its Official Partnership with Jeepers Jamboree. 

As an Official Partner of Tread Lightly!, Jeepers Jamboree will continue to support Tread Lightly!’s mission to protect off-road trail access and public lands through stewardship projects and responsible recreation education.

 “Thank you to Jeepers Jamboree for renewing its Official Partnership with Tread Lightly! and weaving the T.R.E.A.D. Principles into the Jamboree and Camp Rubicon,” said Matt Gaskins, Tread Lightly! Executive Director. “We’re proud to continue our work to conserve our trails and public lands with their support.”

Jeepers Jamboree became a Tread Lightly! Official Partner over 20 years ago and has since integrated its messaging at annual events on the iconic Rubicon Trail, and at Camp Rubicon, where kids are educated about safety and how to take responsibility for public lands and trails.

“Because the Rubicon Trail is so popular, it’s critical that we support the Tread Lightly! mission to help keep it protected for generations to come,” said Lacey Stiles, Office Manager. “We’re proud to instill these principles into our events for young and old alike.”

About Jeepers Jamboree
The Jeepers Jamboree is considered the oldest, toughest, and largest organized event of this type in the world. The official Jeepers Jamboree happens at only one place and that is on the Rubicon Trail over the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Don’t be fooled by others claiming 70 years of Jamborees. Jeepers Jamboree was established in 1953 and celebrated its 70th Anniversary in 2022. It is the “Granddaddy” of all 4-wheel events. Jeepers Jamboree offers two different events every year.
