Project: Venture Unknown Foundation: Sweep Up the Southeast
Description: On September 7th, 2024, 248 volunteers joined forces with Venture Unknown Foundation to perform a massive cleanup within 12 National Forests in the southeast.
Over 220 miles of National Forest roads were cleaned and restored to their natural beauty after removing 101,312 lbs of trash, including 322 tires, boats, TVs, large kitchen appliances and an amazing assortment of classic CDs and video tapes!
14 Teams of volunteers supporting cleanup efforts in 10 states worked over 1,655 hours to execute this important work helping to Protect The Adventure on our beautiful public lands and forests!
