Matt most recently served as the Chief Vision Officer for Rivian Clubs of America where he is building educational and experiential programs promoting safe and responsible off road behaviors. In 2019, he joined Rivian where he and a small team established the treasury and risk functions in preparation for a successful IPO in 2021 which opened the door for an incredible opportunity to transition to the special projects team. As senior manager of prototype experience, he helped launch the R1T, R1S, and Tread Lightly! programs and collaborated with several internal teams to create an internal off road ethics review board which informed company wide programs on product launches, content creation, and stewardship initiatives.

He was lucky to later join this community professionally, first as a tire-fitter and groover stateside and as a fueler when the races headed to Baja. Brandon later shifted into marketing, working as an agency partner on the BFGoodrich Tires Enthusiast Events team. In that role he planned and participated in events at some of the most beautiful and iconic wheeling locations across the U.S., such as Moab, Johnson Valley, the Rubicon, and the stark deserts of Nevada. Brandon is excited to be working in California to keep areas like these open and accessible for all, and to give back to the community that he’s been a part of since childhood.

Laura went to the University of Alaska- Fairbanks, earning a bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management. Throughout her career she has spent time as a firefighter/paramedic in many areas of Nevada, including wildland fire experience.

She has served as the CEO of VORRA (Valley Off Road Race Association). She and her husband have been longtime racers and volunteers with VORRA, and many other race organizations, and has gained a great deal of knowledge through the process, giving her a strong background in areas of land management and local government districts within the state of Nevada.

Laura has also competed in the Rebelle Rally twice and continues to enjoy opportunities to participate in other offroad events. Laura and her husband BJ have a strong background in the offroad community, and together they received a nomination for an ORMHOF impact award in 2019.

When she’s not working, Laura enjoys family outings whether it be camping trips or off-roading with her husband, daughter, and their dogs.
