Tread Lightly! provides a sponsorship to events which promote responsible and sustainable outdoor recreation. Tread Lightly!’s goal is to educate the public on ways to minimize impacts and create stewards who are engaged in efforts to preserve access to outdoor recreation opportunities.
Tread Lightly! Official Outdoor Ethics Sponsorships are awarded to events who agree to encourage and promote the T.R.E.A.D. Principles:
