Tread Lightly! announces the Great Lakes Four Wheel Drive Association as its newest Partner Affiliate Club

NORTH SALT LAKE, UT. (May 09, 2024)— Tread Lightly!, a U.S.-based nonprofit dedicated to promoting responsible outdoor recreation through stewardship and educational programs, announced the Great Lakes Four Wheel Drive Association (GLFWDA) as its newest Partner Affiliate Club.

 The Partner Affiliate Club level offers all GLFWDA member organizations and individuals discounts on club and individual Tread Lightly! memberships. As a Partner Affiliate Club of Tread Lightly!, GLFWDA will support Tread Lightly!’s mission to protect off-road trail access and public lands through stewardship projects and responsible recreation education.

 “Thank you the Great Lakes Four Wheel Drive Association for partnering with Tread Lightly! as our newest Partner Affiliate Club,” said Michael Sype, Marketing and Communications Director of Tread Lightly!. “Together we can work as one community to Protect the Adventure across the Great Lakes region.”

 The GLFWDA is a non-profit organization built around four wheel drive vehicles, their owners, and the land they use in the Great Lakes Area. Its members, supporters and associated clubs all work together to educate user groups, promote ethical use of our public lands and help many charitable causes.

Great Lakes Four Wheel Drive Association (GLFWDA) is a non-profit organization built around four wheel drive vehicles, their owners, and the land we use in the Great Lakes Area. Being a Grant Sponsor withing the State of Michigan ORV program we maintain signage and brushing on several ORV Routes, conduct projects to add opportunities and challenges for multiple user groups while keeping sustainability and minimizing impact at the forefront, We stay directly involved with any entities required to maintain and expand access to State and Federal Lands in the area.
