PROJECT DURATION: April to May 2016

Description from USDA Forest Service/ Delta National Forest:

This project includes constructing and installing turnpikes on multi-use trails that are located in waterlogged soils throughout the Delta National Forest in Mississippi. This project will work to provide more sustainable and enjoyable trails for trail users.

Tread Lightly! has awarded a “25 for 25” grant to partially fund this project. Funding was made possible by our generous partners: Yamaha Outdoor Access Initiative, Federal Premium Ammunition, Bushnell and Dallas Safari Club.
