Tread Lightly! board re-elects directors and appoints new members

NORTH SALT LAKE, Utah (Jan 11, 2024)— Tread Lightly!, a U.S.-based nonprofit dedicated to promoting responsible outdoor recreation through stewardship and educational programs, announced appointment of four new board members, the re-election of six previously appointed directors, and the election of a replacement board member from Kawasaki.

 The board’s newest elected members will serve three-year terms and include Matt Gaskins, Rivian Clubs of America Chief Vision Officer, Nick Willette, Performance Channel Sales Manager with Dana, Jackie Smith, Customer Experience Owner of Recreation at Ford Motor Company, and Lance Clifford Founder of Pirate 4×4. Tomi Lutz, Product Manager/Corporate Strategic Planning with Kawasaki, will serve a one-year term, replacing Tread Lightly! Board Member, Dave Behlings, who retired from Kawasaki in 2023. 

“We’re thrilled to refresh our board with new members and thank our current members for their continued service to the outdoor recreation and off-road industries,” said Matt Caldwell, Tread Lightly!’s Executive Director. “Our board of directors and advisors are vital to the success of our organization and help us achieve our mission. We look forward to growing our impact in 2024 and beyond with their advisement.”

The re-elected directors, serving another three-year term, include Kristin Golliher, CEO and founder of WildRock PR & Marketing and Tread Lightly! Board Treasurer, Jeff Nasi, Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing, Business Development at MotoAmerica, Matt Martelli, Founder of Mad Media, Amy Granat, Managing Director of CORVA, Bethany Dudley, Product Strategy at Apple, and Jon Lee, Brand Communications Manager with BP.
