Tread Lightly! provides a sponsorship to events which promote responsible and sustainable outdoor recreation. Tread Lightly!’s goal is to educate the public on ways to minimize impacts and create stewards who are engaged in efforts to protect access to outdoor recreation opportunities.

Tread Lightly! Official Outdoor Ethics Sponsorships are awarded to events who agree to encourage and promote the T.R.E.A.D. Principles:

Travel Responsibly | Respect the Rights of Others | Educate Yourself | Avoid Sensitive Areas | Do Your Part
