Tread Lightly! announces OK4WD as its newest Official Partner

CENTERVILLE, UT. (Jun 3, 2021)— Tread Lightly!, a U.S.-based nonprofit dedicated to promoting responsible outdoor recreation through stewardship and educational programs today announced OK4WD, an off-road and overland vehicle outfitter, as its newest Official Partner.

As an Official Partner of Tread Lightly!, OK4WD’s efforts and donations will help to ensure millions of outdoor enthusiasts are reached through trail stewardship projects, recreation training and education campaigns.

“Thank you to OK4WD for being committed to the mission of Tread Lightly!,” said Matt Caldwell, Executive Director of Tread Lightly!. “As we focus on continuing to increase our reach and impact, this partnership will help to support our mission of keeping trails accessible, open and healthy through our stewardship and educational efforts on the East Coast and across the country.”

OK4WD is a family-owned business, rooted in New Jersey for over 40 years installing and providing off-road equipment for the outdoor enthusiast. Nationally recognized in the off-road community, OK4WD was the first off-road shop in the US to install an ARB Air Locker, an essential tool for any off-roader. With their shop equipped with solar panels to power their daily operations and currently installing EV power stations to give electric vehicles a place to charge, OK has put an emphasis on minimizing their carbon footprint.

“OK4WD is committed to minimizing our impact as an organization and helping to keep off-road trails open,” said Rin Oostdyk, Head of National Sales. “We are proud to support Tread Lightly!’s mission through this partnership.”
