Description: This project was funded by Can-Am Off-Road. Can-Am has committed to funding trail stewardship projects in partnership with Tread Lightly! to help maintain and improve access to public lands and off-road trails.
On September 30, 2023, National Public Lands Day, two volunteers joined the TL! Team at the Bountiful Staging Area in the Uintah-Wasatch-Cache National Forest.
Trash was removed from three separate shooting areas along Ward Canyon Road. The team had a chance to speak with many other groups and provide them with trash bags and insight as to why we do these projects, and the importance of keeping these areas clean to guarantee future use of the area. In total, 280 pounds of trash was removed from the area.
