Project: Florida Jeep Jam Clean & Krawl Beach Cleanup
Location: Florida

Description: On May 14, 2026, a total of 47 volunteers came together in Panama City Beach for the Florida Jeep Jam Clean & Krawl Beach Cleanup, held in conjunction with the 5th annual Florida Jeep Jam. Volunteers gathered during the event’s “Day at the Beach” activities to help protect the beauty of the area’s shoreline ahead of the popular “Topless for Turtles” Beach Krawl scheduled for the following morning.

Each volunteer was provided with a mesh trash sack from Sak-It and spread out across approximately four miles of beach to collect litter and debris. Often referred to as “The World’s Most Beautiful Beaches,” the coastline of Panama City Beach serves as a treasured destination for both residents and visitors, and volunteers were committed to ensuring it remained clean and protected.

The cleanup took place on a beautiful day filled with beach games, music, and stewardship. Sponsored by Florida Off-Road Foundation, Florida Jeep Jam, Tread Lightly!, and Jeeping Nation, the event highlighted the off-road community’s commitment to protecting natural resources and promoting responsible recreation.

Through the collective efforts of all participants, 235 pounds of trash were removed from the beach ahead of the 35th annual Panama City Beach Turtle Watch. The cleanup helped improve the environmental health and appearance of the shoreline while reinforcing community stewardship and conservation awareness.

Thank you to the partners who made this possible:
